Cyril (Cy) Porter

Cyril (Cy) Jones. Porter Jr., 93, of Hot Springs Village died on Friday April 25, 2014 at a local hospital. Cy was born October 20, 1920 to the late Cyril J. and Myra Porter in Fairfield, Alabama.

Cy was a graduate of Auburn University and was in the United States Navy and was a WWII veteran. He was a member and had served as an elder at Presbyterian Kirk in The Pines Church.

Cy is survived by his loving wife of sixty-nine years Elizabeth and three daughters: Sally Seward and husband Albert of Petersburg, Virginia, Susan Mann and husband Tom of Boston, Massachusetts and Cindy Hagy and husband Bill of Bristal, Virginia; five grandchildren: Christopher and Sara Seward, Lauren Mann, Leslie Mann Polubinski and husband Jeff and Jason Keen and wife Anna Lindsay; and two great-grandchildren: Porter and Sadie Keen.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 03, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Presbyterian Kirk in The Pines, burial following in the Memorial Gardens.
